IMHO, I think they're just gambling. The Bid price is cheap, and they're not offering to buy many shares.
If (a very big "if" ) the PPS has a little pop, they're bailing with any profit. If it plummets, no harm -- no foul [not a whole lot was invested].
Unlike some of us here who purchased mucho shares and are getting clobbered as a result.
Anyway ... GL on your other investments.
