5 years and JBI is likely to be gone, so it's pretty much a lifetime ban. I don't imagine other companies will be clamoring for JB after his work at JBI.

Perhaps the SEC is waiting for court approval. From what I hear, they like to be 300% certain an agreement is finalized before announcing it.
