As a novice and new to the stock market, I have only experienced dilution twice, most recently GALE. The price dropped from around 1.80 or so to 1.40ish. It didn't take too long for the price to recover - about a month if I recall correctly.

Is dilution a strong probability and would it be wise to sell on the news and repurchase at a lower base? Or does the cap gains tax not really warrant it? Either way I am long and feel the price woukd recover, but it would be nice to accumulate more at a lower price if I timed it right. Doubt its worth the risk/hassle. Probably best to just hold and be patient.

Excuse the ramble...
