Patrik,
"Honestly would you loan any money to a buyer
of a KDS when the company is broke. How do you know they will
be in business much longer. Im asking from a professional
stand point not a personal one."
Honestly, I have. That does not mean it was the right decision. I have won and lost. I currently am working on a deal to make 7% with a company of a friend. I also have sold some equipment and inventory on time payments. Sometimes I win and sometimes I loose. It does not make it the wise thing to do so I do get your point and am not at odds with it.
I guess my confidence is in Brian. I began thinking this was becoming a bad deal the last year Cal was alive. FASC is staying alive due to Brian's stubbornness in my opinion. As I have stated before, I would definitely handle things different, but that does not make me right. I could be wrong also! As you probably know, business is about making your best decisions.
It would be nice to see FASC absorbed by a larger manufacturer or distributor that has many complimentary pieces of equipment in their portfolio. My original hopes was that we could increase share structure and purchase a distributor of such ourselves. I talked to Brian and Cal several times about it.
Lets hope that Brian receives monies owed, adds a few sales this year, and uses the borrowed time to look for some kind of merger or buyer for our little company. But, if they stay independent I will probably still be here!!!!
My thoughts,
RJ
