"You could not possibly know this without having access to Mr. Wesson's private trading records"

I could not possibly have known what?

The Form 3 INITIAL STATEMENT OF BENEFICIAL OWNERSHIP OF SECURITIES filed by Wesson on 2/24/10 showed that he owned 4,759 shares directly. It also showed him to be an INDIRECT owner, as Trustee, of 451,993 shares held by the Laurence G. Wesson Trust and 368,250 shares held by the Eleanor R. Wesson Trust.

My carefully worded statement, quoted by you and now highlighted for your benefit, was:
"Upon further review it appears that Mr. Wesson has not personally made a "six-figure investment" of JBI shares in the open market since the beginning of time, let alone in 2012."

There is no construct by which you can assert that the shares held by the Trusts were Wesson's personal investment.....a personal investment being defined by any reasonable person as an investment resulting in DIRECT ownership by the investor.

You are welcome to go through his filings, as I did, to see if he personally made a "six-figure investment" of JBI shares in the open market since the filing of the Form 3.

"The 2012 investment, as stated in the filings, was in a private placement."
I never questioned that. A poster indicated that "john wesson bought most of his treasure trove of shares in the open market".
I was responding to 1)the inaccuracy of that statement and 2)the apparent use of funds converted from loans to the company into a private placement investment at a discount to the market price, resulting in limited out of pocket cost in making that investment.
Since the company chose not to specifically identify him as the source of those loans I can't prove the above, but it is clearly implied by the filings. See the last 10-K and the relevant Form D.

But can it core A apple?
Yes Ralph, of course it can core A apple.
