First time poster LTL (is it long-Term Long or Long-Term Loser) on Rambus. I used to post on the Yahoo! Board. But that is too noisy and this board feels less cluttered.

Thanks to Calbiker for his Free Press. Very much appreciated and I used to wait for the reports.

Wondering how the Longs here feel about the prospect for Rambus to survive in Whyte's court. Based on the reports by Cal here, Mark and Third-Derivative on Yahoo board, I am beginning to think that Rambus has overcome the Spoliation's ghostly spectre. It will be interesting to see how Judge Whyte rules. To me, even more than what was said and alleged in the NDCA court, the fact that Whyte has read the FTC ID thoroughly and even used it in his rulings gives me a lot of encouragement. The FTC ID did an awesome job of pointing out the conspiracy by the MMs. And the DOJ followed through nicely with IFX, Hynix, and Samsung.

Whyte is too smart a judge and too wise a man to not get the big picture. THerefore, I strongly feel that the most Rambus might be subject to are some adverse references. I am willing to go out on a lim and say that Whyte will rule for Rambus on Spoliation. May be not as strongly as McGuire did, but pretty close nevertheless. The bottom line to me looks like Rambus will emerge victorious here, with enough of a margin to be able to enforce their patents
