As for the Pres taking options instead of salary, I guess your superficial DD hasn't discovered that options are expensed now and impact EPS..."passionate and frugal"? sounds like smoke and mirrors to me ...

Hope SIMC works out better for you than WSCI and, especially, GIGA (ouch)...
