Well, that was why the discovery of the Higgs bosson this summer was so important.

It's another very important piece of the puzzle.

In the quantum world, protons (matter) act as waves (energy).
Electrons don't have a definable orbit, they are present in quadrants, rings or rings inside of rings around the proton.

In our 'real world', matter exists because we see it. Our senses confirm it's existence.
We are aware of it.
We can measure it, weight it, photograph it.
Our perception dictates our reality. (measure, weigh, etc.)
Reality is subject to our ability to understand.
IE: radio waves existed billions of years before we invented them.
Sound has frequencies we don't hear.
Even matter is subject to our perception.

Evolution is simply the documentation of our progression.
The discipline of scientific observation deems evolution as a theory because we cannot predict change.
Our progression in this physical world has ups and downs
but progression is unrelenting and part of the fabric of time.

We know life's beginnings on Earth. We know time as a dimension.
These two facts are documented and proven.

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make
you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” ---Ralph
Waldo Emerson
