Hi Bob, The Northwoods Shelby Club rented the new track at Joliet, IL last weekend. Edgar Boles and I drove the FFR Pumpkin for a total of six hours during the weekend. Total gas consumption was around 52 gallons!!! Glad it was just Pump Gas and not 110 octane!
Note the Custome Graphics on the side of the Great Pumpkin! Just the thing for Halloween!
(Tom Veale, South Track)
(Tom and Pete Wilson, North Track)
So the Great Pumpkin enjoyed its last outing for 2005. Antifreeze is topped up, fresh oil and filter in place. Not too much to do for next season. I have a bit of a rear seal leak on the trans to fix is about all. What a great workhorse this car is. Sure wish you'd driven it or taken a ride with me at R.A.
