read em and weep "Medinah is not going to get the check until it becomes obvious that all further attempts will be futile."

see, he is saying the partners are delaying in order to get at lDM. What a shill he is, always coming up with excuses for non performamnce

"Here’s an example of dealing with a consortium. Let’s say Amarant and the other consortium members really, really, really want the LDM. Uhlander approaches management of Medinah and says gosh JJ consortium member #4 is threatening to bail if there’s no LDM as part of the package. Group #4’s BOD just won’t OK it. This might be a total bluff but the BOD of consortium member #4 doesn’t mind getting thrown temporarily under the bus.

Medinah holds its ground and says no big deal we’ll go it alone and have the LDM fund development of the ADL. Uhlander says well, don’t be too hasty. I’ll work on #4 and try to convince him that we can always take a run at the LDM later. The very, very, very last thing in the world Uhlander is going to do if there’s any chance at all in getting the LDM is to let you cash the check. If he did his leverage is gone. Under this scenario (which I doubt is accurate but explains how dealing with consortia works) Medinah is not going to get the check until it becomes obvious that all further attempts will be futile. "
