Wouldn't it be sweet if
Echostar and Liberty would be rivals in trying to get the licenses from WorldSpace (not sure what is left), but I do believe Liberty still has a finger in WorldSpace pot somewhere. I don't think the global idea was born yesterday. Malone usually has long term plans brewing.

Found this:
Liberty Global was the first major investor. Launching 8 to 12 satellites in 2013. Do a search OF O3b Networks and you will see where we are headed. Satellite internet, cell service, media.......ON A GLOBAL BASIS.
