The promotional outfit you mentioned in your P.M.,
is likely the same. Calls are almost always suggesting strongly that I place a bid at the ask to get rid if these 'few thousands' shares and... etc, etc.
I did buy a few shares of PNGM, when they had that promo, but not at the ask... managed to sell also about even. That one, there were buy and sell opportunities. With SRCO, I do not expect my broker to permit buys for a while yet.
As you say, there might be something going on, so I'll keep watching.
