Hi, I am having a discussion with by brooker at about (below) how to handle these f-shares, anyone with similar problem?

First message from my brooker:
“Sino Agro has made a spin-off to distribute a restricted share to existing shareholder in a ratio of 1 restricted shares to every 100 existing shares. Neither our custodian nor us will custody the restricted shares. Hereby, we would like to confirm your mailing address as record to send you the certificate by post as soon as we receive that”

Question from me back:
“These stocks (type F-stock) where given to all shareholders as a dividend for 2012 and will be converted to cash in 2014. Can you explain more, you are not able to keep these F-shares on my account, so you will send me the certificate for me to manage?
I have never before received this kind of certificate and don’t really know how to manage this. Can you advice?”

Reply from brooker:
“Please kindly referring to the announcement made by the company. I have never come across to the similar case however, we shall try to refer the problem to our US agents for more details.
First of all, while we are not able to keep these F-stocks, we would send the certificate to you.
We cannot tell how it would handle the dividend by 2014 at the moment. Let me explore more details with the US team since they are out of office for Martin Luther King holiday tonight.”
