In case you didn't know, not everyone reads the charts the same way. It's as much an art as it is a science -- but I stand by my analysis 100%. Now let's take a closer look at what was said here...

First, the way a trend line is drawn has absolutely _nothing_ to do with what the MACD is showing. Trend lines are drawn based on candlestick patterns, and absolutely nothing else. Maybe you meant to say that a trend line isn't valid without some level of MACD confirmation? Still, I don't agree at all -- a break in trend is a break in trend, period, regardless of what the MACD is showing. The trend in the candlesticks is a million times more important than what the MACD, MAs or RSI are doing. Remember "the trend is your friend"? Truer words have never been spoken.

Even though you disagreed with my analysis in your first three lines, your fourth statement says that you are in agreement with my statements (that we could be seeing a reversal soon.) So which is it? You seem to simultaneously agree and disagree with me at the same time.

Lastly, an examination of the chart shows many instances of where DROP traded right through the 50DMA with no resistance. The 50DMA is clearly not a particularly important MA to look at here. If I must provide evidence to show this, I will -- but it is all there for everyone to look up quite easily. However, the 30 week MA clearly been a more significant MA to look at, as you can see it acted as strong support or resistance near the end of Oct '11, middle of Jan '12, late Oct '12, and now. Also came quite close to it in Apr '12 and Jul '12. The only time we ever shot right past this MA was on very heavy volume about 2 months ago.

In short: DROP trades through the 50DMA like a hot knife through butter -- which means it's hardly as important as you state.

To be frank, this was a relatively nonsensical post. I don't take too kindly to someone implying that I severely botched my analysis either, especially when it appears that you're the one who is guilty of that.

Oh well, at least we agree a reversal is likely to come here.
