Someone posted a message on an SI board. Did some very brief DD and took an initial position. I called the company and talked to the sales guy and the IR guy. Very intriguing and exciting story. Being a golf nut makes it even better. The story and product can lend itself to a huge success story but it has a ways to go. Like I said funding is the biggest obstacle here. Price and O/S make a PP difficult if not impossible. While the shafts sound very interesting the price is a big factor.I am actually a club maker and the shafts at golfworks are very expensive, $70 and $80 each. Thats $560 and $640 for a set of 8 just for shafts. At that price there are not a lot of people going to be buying them. Kind of a catch 22. Need to get the price point lower. Higher volumes would allow this but the current price will make higher volumes tough. Hopefully they can get some funding without killing the shareholders.
