Woori is huge, and when things went bad with market they took CNCN stuff because CNCN couldn't pay up. CNCN had a sweetheart deal but because of family lines but environment changed.
Float is super low as Zardiw keeps pointing out because it is all mainly inside held. For this reason, as you point out, they didn't just give shares away to Wamar. And, with the 40mil deficit it is a nice tax advantage for some company moving in, hence worth something.
Recent movement cannot be denied. Someone knows something and activating it puts it back in play. Koreans owning this thing are patient and I"m sure they are looking to make some nice money on it as any one of them could have been dumping recently if they wanted to pick up a couple dollars on something worthless. They didn'tand most likely won't until it plays out. Should be interesting at minimum, and hopefully they make us all a nice profit.
