I have wondered if the company deliberately set the recommended dose low to leave room for the higher doses to become "prescription strength".

In any event, I started taking Anatabloc at the 2x3 (6mg) recommended dosing level September was a year ago. It resolved a decades long condition but not the 4 year old shoulder issue which was the primary reason for trying it. (That was one thing that convinced me it was not the placebo effect. I had not even considered that it might help that decades long condition.)

However, about a year ago, after reading where some who were taking it for arthritis did not see benefits until they upped their dose to 3x3 (9mg). I did the same and my shoulder issue gradually began to get better. It took months for it to finally resolve.

I read somewhere a long time ago a formula that used 3.89 mg of anatabine per 100 pounds of body weight. I weigh about 260 so that would work out to about 10 Anatabloc per day. Obviously the recent thyroid study used more than that. But I also suspect that the amount of anatabine necessary is a function of body weight and the amount of inflammation. Apparently the anatabine molecule hooks up with the inflammed cell; so it stands to reason that if you have more inflammed cells, then more anatabine will be needed.
