Intel has separate, dedicated FABs for development and chipsets. Not true. Intel does development and high volume manufacturing in the same facility.

Intel should be able to get about 60% more throughput from running 12" wafers compared to 8" wafers (the wafers are actually 2.25 times larger, but take longer to process). Total bullshit. 300mm wafers take no longer to process than 200mm wafers. You argue these issues endlessly, could you at least get your facts straight?

AMD loses about 10% of its FAB 30 production to development processing. What would AMD be developing in FAB 30? 200mm is dead. AMD's process development is being done in FAB 36 on 300mm wafers.
