John, you've been living in a sheltered world. The Starz on Real works very well but it only downloads onto your computer. But, have found I like the flexibility of having it there and pause it, reverse it, watch it, at will, while doing everything else I need to do. There is another ReelTime (RLTR) that have done a lot of beta testing and their flicks download in only a very few minutes, 8 to 10, and like with Startz you can be doing other things as you download. Reel--is also going to have a piece of hardware available costing about $200 where you can show the movies on your TV. When JF talked about cable download I immediately thought of these 2 systems. In fact, buying ReelTime might be a good idea.
