Forget about the stock, he was the controller and his email was responsible for over 40 million shares traded today. It doesn't matter if the letter was true or false, he will lose his license and could face jail time. He also worked with the auditors and signed off on sec docs. It seems when he was getting paid he was willing to look the other way assuming something is wrong, but went it wasn't to his advantage anymore he created A crisis for the company it's shareholders and himself. Jail time very possible IMO.
