I don't think there is any buying because there is no new blood to the story. I don't really see it as investor confidence although it appears you want to buy but aren't confident enough to do so?

As the expected time frame of a deal gets closer I expect some buying but after several false starts and most shares bought being held I am not sure who is left to speculate on a deal at this point?

I am hoping we get a deal but I am a bit leery after what happened this fall and the vagueness of what is going on to be 100% on predicting a positive deal outcome.

I have added over a million in the last few weeks and may again as one of my small holdings is making a move. I am not buying because of an imminent deal but because the value is so strong, the risk vs reward as you said it.

IMHO and I expect a Shining Tree spin which alone is worth nearly the entire market cap of everything today IMHO. The long term viability for the property remains strong and is improving IMHO but that doesn't guarantee a deal by end of Feb? So its a matter of when but when may or may not be in the next 6 weeks.
