Democrats will threaten filabuster, make some side deals and trades with Bush & Company. In the end Alito will be confirmed. Politicans only care about POWER, most don't care who sits on the Court.
Democrats should be working on a real platform if they intend to win back control of anything.
As for ScooterGate, I can't for the life of me imagine that we should be led to think that nobody in the White House is guilty of outing Ms. CIA. What a joke. Why should administration officials be discussing a CIA agent with anyone within or outside of the White House. It is a treasonous act, which most likely will go unpunished. Fitzgerald could be the future Attorney General of US, if he plays his Andrew CARDS right. Sacrifice one Scooter for the good of Bush & Co., not a bad deal for them.
