docrew, thanks for posting the minutes. I'm wondering what the mediator is all about. Mediator to help select supplemental material?

The Declaration of Steven M. Perry in Support of Rambus Inc. 's Opposition to Samsung Defendants ' Demurrer to complaint and Plaintiff Rambus Inc. 's Opposition to Samsung Defendants ' Demurrer to Complaint were returned to counsel by the Clerk. The Court withdrew the tentative ruling on the plaintiff's motion to amend the protective order in order to allow both sides to submit supplemental materials. The Court continued this matter to January 12, 2006 at 9:30 am. for continued hearing of the motion to seal the motion to strike and the motion to amend the protective order and for a case management conference. If counsel can agree upon a mediator, they may go forward with mediation. If they cannot agree, they may set up a conference call with the Court and the Court will select someone to serve as mediator.
