Very true. It is also an indication that the results of the other mouse studies will translate to humans. (i.e. It is now extremely likely that the very positive results seen in the mouse studies for MS, alzheimers, and traumatic brain injury will also occur in humans.)

Results of thyroid study add credibility to the anecdotal reports on a variety of benefits for other afflictions, and increases expectation that thorough science will validate those reports. This is not going to hurt the stock price.
