First of all you have to remember that GTE is not a normal stock working its way up the ladder. With their Stratellite situation always looming in the not too distant future, something serious could happen to them.
But they were shorted heavily, (and it was said to be a lot coming from the German hedge funds, though I don't know that for sure), and hit a low of around 1.20 or around .08 a share pre-split. Currently around two bucks.
I have no idea where PBLS should aim for, except to remark that it would probably be best to just go to the next higher board, unless the situation warrants shooting for a higher yet board...
