You could be right. From what I understand of their business model, they do acquire businesses to expand into selective markets. I don't know if they are interested in the microbiology aspect for the library, so a partnership with MMTC may be their best option. I have read they have a system of patient monitoring in hospitals which is becoming a real money maker for them and they may see hospitals as a end user for the MIT 1000 for MRSA and other pathogens.
