Received new message County Commissioner regarding SSE

"As far as Spinning Star goes, I have not heard anything new or up-to-date on their project. All I can say on about tax credit extension is that their negotiation with us was fast and furious because they feared that we would not come to an agreement before the end of the year. (They had to have an agreement before 2013 to be able to get the federal funding.) So, it's my opinion that that funding would have been for the year of 2012 and that they had already received it.

I haven't heard anything new as of yet but I'm sure that when and if they do begin that Judge Deaton will be made aware of it because of the requirements of the contract with the county. Judge Deaton is their main contact and I did ask him if he had heard anything new last month and he said no.
