Ely Kahn
After four years as a management consultant, Ely entered the federal government to lead the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) corporate ventures office as the Director of Risk Management and Strategic Innovation. In this role, Ely led a team of “intrapreneurs” to develop breakthrough technology and process innovations at TSA. Immediately prior to Wharton, Ely served as the Director for Cybersecurity at the National Security Council within the White House, where he oversaw cybersecurity strategy and policy efforts across the federal government. Currently, Ely is working part-time doing corporate development work for a venture-backed startup and sits on the Board of Advisors for Infrax Systems, which develops cybersecurity solutions for the Smart Grid. Ely graduated from Harvard College in 2001 with an AB in Environmental Science and Public Policy.
