Damn good team!!! Mr. Marc Faerber has been Chief Financial Officer of Amarantus BioSciences, Inc. since May 2009 and serves as its Treasurer and Secretary. Mr. Faerber serves as Head of Administration and Finance at Imetrx, Inc. He joined IMETRX from EnReach Technology, where he served as the Vice President of Finance from 1999 to 2001. In that capacity, he provides financial, business and strategic advisory services to various startup entities, including medical device, biotechnology, software and alternative energy related companies. His services and experience include facilitating startups in establishing appropriate internal controls, developing administrative procedural processes, writing and critiquing business plans and strategies, preparation of company presentations, short term financial operating plans, and long term strategic financial planning, assisting organizations with seeking financing and rendering advice in various negotiations related to mergerand acquisitions, distribution rights, technology licensing and other business structural issues, and review and implementation of internal control structures in support of Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Mr. Faerber served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer and President of Norian Corporation, an orthopedic-related development stage company. He has more than 30 years of experience in both industry and public accounting from multi-national companies to start-ups. He held years of experience in Wall Street and gained transactional experience in public and private offerings, mergers and acquisitions, spin offs, and technology licensing. He has served for and provided business and financial advisory services to a number of clients in the medical device market for 14 years. Mr. Faerber served various financial positions at publicly traded companies including Controller positions at Collagen Corporation from 1990 to 1994 and Applied Materials from 1984 to 1990. He served as a Director of Norian Corporation. He completed extensive course work in taxation from Golden Gate University. He is a licensed CPA (Inactive) in California and was a Certified Valuation Analyst from 2004 through 2007. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Providence College and has done course work towards a M.S. in Taxation at Golden Gate University.
