The fact is that they need -20C continuously for "two weeks" and not one mothh to freeze the bog sufficiently for drilling. Last night it reached -26. As I write it is -18. It has been much colder than last year already for the past several weeks. The freeze up has had a good head start with double digit sub-zero temperatures. Those that held onto their shares are probably going to be watching the temperature with great interest. Winter in Timmins is showing to be much more normal this year so far. The forecast shows sub-zero to continue for the next two weeks. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/fourteenday/caon0692

Anyone wishing to monitor temparatures can go the http://www.theweathernetwork.com/ and type in Timmins in the Search for location area. For those that are unfamiliar with Celcius just enter the words "Temperature Conversion" into your GOOGLE search bar and that will provide lots of easy to use links and calculators that convert C to F.

As a moderator, I would prefer we save the highlighted posts for any future news releases that are of significance - such as the three that are there already.
