I am hoping that this is not what will happen l, as I am sitting by the pot waiting for my gold.... But anyone who thinks you do not have valid points... Does not understand how the govt/media/money works behind the scenes. Your scenario has been my ONLY fear in investing since March.

These are realities. There are back door deals done all the time. There are 1000 things done everyday in the name of national security that would horrify and silence most Americans. If you do not believe that Sluicers post is a distinct possibility ( and I hope for all out sakes it's not the outcome) then you have bigger issues and things you need to look at other than VRNG every day.
