UpNDown, the SuSE report is pretty typical stuff for Linux just ahead of release. There are always boundry issues which get left to the last minute, getting these things put to rest is the least fun part of porting. It is grunt work that the team is now tackling, nothing in it is high risk. (It is likely that the first SuSE Opteron Linux will still have a few bugs at release time and there will be a bevy of patches in the first few months.)

For all the complaints about Windows, it actually is quite polished at release time when compared to everyone else.
