Scottrade apparently got it slightly wrong, or Etrade did. Etrade informed me of all that except they also noted that there was a small change to the name, namely that the "s" was dropped from Biosciences to make it Bioscience singular. The ticker stays the same. Some have said that the name change however slight triggers the need for actual replacement of shares (and full accounting that necessarily accompanies this). I am not sure of the exact mechanics that takes place at the various brokerages in order to swap shares. VG do you know if the name change is in fact the important driver forcing the swap as opposed to simply issueing new sets of numbers?
