You talking Ekwan? Actually although I would never bet long on Ekwan's chances of becoming a mighty machine of industrial expansion, they do have a REAL technology borrowed from NASA and put on an aircraft by some fathead techies, and it WILL find some kind of mineral siggies on the ground. They worked on mounting the data collectors and sensor heads on the aircraft for about a year and a bit. Their leverage is they can collect more data channels than the competition. Their disadvantage is they have no good white papers, 3rd party reports or examples that make the tech a done deal for customers. Noranda, Teck, Newmont et al ARE using "the same" sort of multi-spec remote sensing tech to find mineral groups on the ground in low cover areas. It suits Chile, NWT, Labrador, Nevada, Arizona et al for mineral looky-looky quite fine. EKWX, as flaky as the stock is, has a plan to seek out ore and contracts in the bush out there. How successful their business will be is a matter of connecture and conjecture.

remote IR multi band is the wave of the future for overburden rich explo and maybe canopy cover too. IT is harder than hell to correlate.. or should we say, complex as hell, but it is rich in hidden data, so if you want to do computer studies on what correlates with what and where, multi spec is the ticket. It could be used for diamonds copper gold and what have you. Arcti explo is a no brainer. Even used for oil. It is up to the skill of the people using the data. Interp is the key and the customer might have to work with that. Maybe their interp is close to the vest. It does use more channels, and there may be proprietary aspects.

I know the people in Ekwan, but I am not touting their stock, or their corporate profile. I have to be fair and say they are real, but canny about their ops and in a competitive environment. I cannot tout their chances of business success or ore body finding success on their own, as that has too many variables.

Someday remote IR Hyper Spectral or multi spec will find an orebody in your neighbourhood. Whether it is Briggitte Martini and HyMap or Ed Godin and Ekwan is a guess I will not take at this time.
