With a lack of available shares to short (for some time now, actually), it's safe to assume the drop in PPS is due to longs getting squeezed. I would imagine dilution plays a role also.

Longs have had a tough year. Now the stock has plunged through the 50dma and is well under the 200dma with bearish technical indicators. Maybe 2013 will be better. Who knows.
