If there was not a boat load of oil there do you think all these bs delay's would have happened? Why would anadarko be fighting tooth and nail to regain the block? Why would XOM be trying to do backdoor deals to get operatorship? Why would a company bid $90 MILLION dollars just for the right to drill? Why would Noble commit to 3 wells in one year? Me thinks there is major oil there, everyone knows it and wants a piece of it. Elephants are rare around the world now. Most drill sites are looking for up to 500 million barrels. Do you think they would walk away from 3-4 BILLION Barrels of oil and Trillions of CF GAS? Not without a fight or someone has something very legal to hold over their heads. Devon only pulled out of block 3 partnership because they could not get a big enough piece of the pie. Do you think they would have pulled out of block 4 operatorship with 60%? I very much think not.
