So TI (who pays no royalties), Ericsson (who bailed out of its patent litigation in 1999),and Nokia(author of the arbitrary 5% cap on cumulative 3G royalties), having the majority of the WCDMA baseband market, are complaining of anti-competitive conduct in Euope, where CDMA has been precluded from establishing networks? At least the other big player, Motorola, has refused to join this group of victims, assembled by Broadcom, and using a common consulting firm to damage the stock and image of their competitor.
Although we`re certain to take a hit, Qualcomm must be doing many things right. Seems like "Alice In Wonderland".
