Sure, but I'd rather Ants took customers themselves with the ADS via the ACS. You have to remember that Citi was interested in the ACS product to get away from Sybase but they didn't want to go to Oracle, and the way the story goes, the relationship with IBM was born. Lesson - we have to be where the customers want to go, and selling the ADS may be an uphill battle. As far as I know the SQL skin for Sybase is still on IBM's website. If they're selling any, we sure aren't getting anything, but I doubt any sales are taking place. You can see the known limitations of that product on IBM's website. Was this part of the problem? All products have limitations. Would any of these have been enough to almost deep six the company? And why didn't IBM try to buy us like HP was reported to have thought about doing? Then there's always my pet theory involving SAP buying Sybase. Lot's of questions we may never know the answers to. I wonder why Joe & company didn't try to use the ACS to sell the ADS? Limited resources for one. Maybe a buy out was in the thinking since the products inception, after all Joe sold a previous company to Oracle. And making headway without a partner would be more difficult. If the AAA is everything it's said, that is our best bet. Sell the ADS with or without it, depending on the need and license the AAA version of the ACS to any company that wants to use it. Let the best man win, and since we are the dealer, let's stack the deck in favor of the ADSwink
