The following are what stood out for me:

1. Maintain the 2-day delivery by adding distribution centers on high demand states.

Whether they're going head to head with NF or not, NF is setting the standards. Gameznflix know that so they've implemented the following:

a. Inventory leveling like NF to pull out of stock inventory from the next closest distribution center.

b. Cross-promotion in their website. NF calls it Cinematch - a proprietary software that gathers movie ratings among other things and hide out-of-stock dvd links. I see GZFX doing the same thing in the future.

And to stay one step ahead of NF:

Prebooking titles (new releases) at minimum of 6 weeks stock. Which NF doesn't bother.

3. New website: We might see a gamefly.com-type site in 2 weeks (separate section for each gaming platform).

4. Advertising will not get ahead of inventory and growth!
Classic and avoidable mistake but it's easier said than done. I made the same mistakes myself, on a much smaller scale.

Customer service however wasn't addressed in the webcast. This is more complicated than advertising. But I'm sure a CS proprietary software like NF for their Reps will be in the works once have enough resources.

For a net start-up fanatic, the webcast was 98% positive for me.
