What about the Verizon talk? I think it's great, and I think it's a very big deal. They've been hinting about Verizon for a few months now, but no real details. NOK has so many things going for it right now, what a world of difference just 6 months can make.

Earlier in the year bears said that NOK would be facing bankruptcy, that they were burning cash too quickly, and that basically their only hope was to sell off NSN so that that someone could come along and buy them.

Since then they've slimmed down, sold off assets not related to their core business, NSN has become profitable, they're going to be working with Verizon, Asha's are selling like hotcakes, and they just signed with the number one carrier in China. Lumias are doing well and have received overall positive reviews. And, as always, they make good quality phones.

So, the $5 or $10 per phone they get from Apple is nice, but just a small piece of the pie in the overall scheme of things.
