Update to my post #545 of Monday Dec 17 last. Have discovered since that STRH CAN BE purchased thru Schwab & Active Trader Plus (TD Canada Trust). So called my broker, Questrade and asked why these other two will sell, and they, Questrade will not. I re-iterated to the guy that I was originally told STRH is not registered with the DTC & therefore off-limits.
He then went on to say you CAN purchase non DTC registered stock but you
have to do it manually over the phone. To go this route cost $450.00 !!!!
The dude I talked to on the 17th did not give me this additional info.
