Please explain the source of the MOS number you posted


As the trial continued to run very long before hitting defined event counts everybody was saying what they are saying here. If it takes long for patients to die, the drug must be working.

With ONTY, they even had more data. The enrollment curve was known and the time to hit a few event counts was reasonably well know. This allowed for a decent ability to to model the combined data (better than here, was the raw data is guesswork).

Posters over there were expecting Stimuvax to triple comparator arm in median OS. And their math was about right IF the comparator arm had come in as expected.

As has been shown time and again, the fact that a trial takes a long time to reach an event count does NOT mean the drug is effective.

FTM: I agree the indictions are different (sorry for my misspost). But the concept still remains.
