Dozd--He won't rule before each party has filed its resistences to the other's motions---unless, of course, he pulls a laches-type ruling w/o giving the other side a chance to respond. Unlikely.

Since these are so very important motions--basically, the last hurrahs before appeals---I'm wondering if JJ will allow any oral argument. I'm guessing not, but one never knows.

The appeals will then come after the final rulings. The rulings may either be on each individual motion or by virtue of the form of entry of JJ's final judgment, or both. I'll guess both. I don't have time to check the judicial procedural requirements applicable here, but they may require addressing each motion directly and ruling on each individually.
