In an article dated 17 December, El Monitor de Parral reports: As of 17 December, the processing plant has not resumed operations. El Monitor also reports that its efforts to contact the plant manager have been unsuccessful, as he is not in the plant, and telephone calls to his phone have not been answered. No reason for the failure to resume operations has been given by the authorities.

The small miners are meeting, and have indicated that they don't know why the plant has not resumed operations. They have not had any information from the Government concerning this matter.
