Generally speaking, the farther out one buys options the better chance they have if they have also analyzed the correct technical situation of the prospective security since they will have more time premium.

F is currently rising in a daily rising broadening-wedge formation.

F has broken above its descending weekly DT line.

F is in a rising monthly channel.

Note, options are very risky and a wasting asset. I only use very small capital allocations to a particular option as part of money management and ROM (Return of Money) in addition to ROI (Return on Investment). :)
