What he puts out will be the truth 100%. Any legit criticism would have to focus on what isn't said. Even then that criticism would would be mere speculation.

What would he have to gain lying to his shareholders at this point? He's not selling and the volume doesn't suggest acquaintances of his are either. So no. He has absolutely no reason to say a word if he really was being investigated for any past wrong doing. Which of course he isn't.
