Have them talk to the companywink I'm suprised they were unaware of the product. Interesting. They went from Sybase to Oracle? The first version was written for that purpose. I don't think there are any real technical reviews out there. Something caused the product problems and the stock to implode before that got a chance to happen. BJC was(I'm sure) given the product for their testimonial. Nothing wrong there, but that was the product that for some(various?) reason didn't make it in the marketplace. Now Franks new architecture should solve any technical issues, and is supposed to be universally compatible(from any database to any database with little to no coding by hand as I understand it), but....we have no idea as to it's status. The original ACS was supposed to have a second life with specialized uses. I thought exactly that when the ADS came up on the website, but can find no evidence so far that the ACS or part of the ACS is being combined in any way with the ADS. I fail to see how this won't eventually happen. We have, by many accounts, the fastest database out there. We also have software that almost eliminates migration issues. Is it incorrect for me to think that since those two products have overlapping technology the ADS might be the best database candidate for use with the original ACS? They would still have to write a version so suited though, and in so doing pick a database to migrate from. I don't know. Maybe the ADS would best be combined with the ACS advanced architecture aka the AAA. Patience...patience.
