XXXXX,

I share your frustration with the article. It contained several inaccuracies. First, we did not seek out this article. We were presented with a situation in which the reporter was going to publish an article based in part on what he had "learned" about KBLB from blogs. I can only imagine what he would have gleaned from reading blogs from people who are constantly disparaging the Company. Under those circumstances we felt that it was best to cooperate so that the article was not completely one sided.

Despite this, the inaccuracy's in the article are surprisingly numerous. We have thousands of shareholders, not thirty as was reported (just as an example).

It is also inaccurate that we are in discussions with a large foreign company about merger. We are in discussions with companies, including at least one large overseas conglomerate. But our discussions with that particular company are related to commercialization of Monster Silk™ and advanced R & D, not a merger. I hope to be able to share some details about these discussions in the very near future.

I do understand that investors are skeptical of what companies say, and they should be. So when we acknowledge to a reporter that we are in discussions I can understand why many people believe that we are just talking fluff. But I would point out to you that we have not issued a press release in quite some time. If we were interested in fluff, we would have been publicly fluffing.

As for commercialization, our biggest and most immediate hurdle (and opportunity) is production. Our production in the laboratories is not sufficient for commercialization, and it was not designed to be so. It is designed to enable commercialization ramp up by supplying us with a large number of Monster Silk ™ eggs which can be used for industrial scale production. We are in an advanced stage in that process.

Thank you for writing, and thank you for your patience while we assemble several moving parts. I do anticipate that we will be in a position to upscale our communications in the very near future, and I appreciate the input I am receiving from you and other shareholders.

Kim
