well I'm not a patent atourney and you probably arent too so I cannot comment on the strength of the lang patents.

but if you look at PubPats record for invalidating patents then look at who is actually running PubPat (Dan Ravicher) and what he is saying about VRNGO then it doesn't take a genius to figure out who PubPats next target might be....

they successfully scored a re-exam against forgent and narrowed down the scope so much that in the end Forgent simply had to drop the issue.

I think you are missing the bigger picture if you think that the Lang patents are the only possible target here.

PubPat might very well go after VRNG's other patents.

Just remember that Dan thinks he is on some kind of crusade to rid the world of "bad" patents and "bad" patent holders.

we will get our just damages.. i'm 99.9% sure of that but what concerns me is income going forward.. from both Lang patents and other patent litigation..

PubPat is like a suspicious van parked outside your house.. makes you not want to leave the house just in case.
