The answer to your question is NO! AMEX does not have that requirement. The only requirement CVM has with AMEX is to stay up to date on its filings with the SEC. Only NYSE and NASDAQ require a minimum of $1 stock price to continue being listed on their respective exchanges. That is why you'll see many legit BioTechs listed on the AMEX to give them that flexibility.
